Old Iron King Crown bug? (Post-DLC Reward)

So I beat the third DLC last night, got my reward, was undewhelmed like everyone else but didn't mind it as it didn't seem to take anything AWAY from the crowns ... that is until I come back to the game and notice that the regen effect of the old iron king crown doesn't work? It DOES work if I'm sitting on a bonfire but it stopped working during actual gameplay. Anyone experience this? Is the Kings bonus somehow affecting the regen?

It does work but the bonus given is... useless yes. You win a really poor quantity of life every 5 seconds, but the crown looks so cool :)

The anti-hollow bonus works fine, what I'm asking about is the NORMAL iron king crown bonus (it regens 20% of your spells every 2 mins). It seems that the regen effect stopped working in favor of the anti-hollow bonus (which is FAR less useful).

Sorry I answered a bit too fast, i see what you mean and i've a similiar issu, the regen is only here when you do not fight (or wait at a bonfire). Dunno why :/

Yeah, testing it further it seems that the regen only kicks in if you stay out of a fight for two minutes. If I go around killing enemies it just doesn't work. I heard that the anit-hollow bonus doesnt carry over into NG+, guess I know what I'm never doing again!

Note: This is NOT how it used to work BEFORE I got the anti-hollow bonus from the king. It used to kick in every 2 mins regardless if I was fighting or not.
