Melting ice in the Ivory King DLC?

I'm playing a pure str/dex character, and I have tried using firebombs, takign my flame sword out and trying to use that, even activating the dragon head and blowign fire at it untill my stamina runs out, if you /need/ pyromancies, that's pretty BS.

Just continue with the DLC, the ice is a work of magic so you have to complete certain portions of the DLC before the ice will permanetly dissapear across the whole DLC.

You have to talk to the woman that whispers to you at the beginning. In order to do that you need to kill the invisible boss. In order to kill the invisible boss you need to go through the home alone fun house to get a special item to help with the fight. Talk to her then the ice melts. Then you get to go throught the fun house again to collect the items. A-maz-ing no?

Yeah, litterally ten seconds after I posted this I continued forth to find out myself, I was just freaking out because I was in an entirely new area and I had ALL THOSE CHESTS back there that were still sealed.

I got it down to really low health then it did the bite-lunge

that last dlc is gold, I literaly came on that fight with the final boss of dlc, mb I came a little more when I beat fume knight first time.
