Ring of the embedded
Anyone know exactly what is meant by, "Gain suprises"? Coming from this expansion, that could very well mean random instant deaths while exploring.

I was kind of thinking that, but after all of these evil tricks they put in this dlc, Im scared to put it on. It may take control of my character and run me off a cliff.

yup im critting a lot more with this ring on, coupled with the Engraved Gauntlets you become a God-King of crits. The stat increases from this ring too aren't too shabby either, very worthwhile!

I've used it for a while, didn't notice anything unusual.

It sounds more like you usually wont notice any damage increase, then all of a sudden its, "Wtf just happened?!"

increased crit chance. use it with engraved gauntlets and you get bigger crits when they happen

So would jester shirt negate the bad effects of this ring then? Maybe good for light builds / glass cannons.

jester shirt only stops back stabs. the game itself is very vague when it comes to explaining the different "crits" and how they work.

The flexalife wiki claims that it ¨raises your attack power like a ring of blade", I equipped it and, since I have 99 across the board, it didn't affect my stats at all. It gives you a crit chance? How often do you find yourselves landing a crit with it + engraved gauntlet?

i find with Curved Nil Greatsword and the ring and engraved gauntlets - about 1 in 5-10 hits. It doesnt seem like much but its amazing when fighting groups of enemies, especially if u can cleave multiple at once

Doesn't it just give +6 to VIT, VIG and END?

I meant that I'm not sure that it gives you crit chance whatsoever. I was using it for rather long time and haven't noticed anything at all.
