Catalyst for miracles and hexes.
Heyo, currently creating an extremely min max build and I'm about done however I have one little problem and hopefully somebody could help me here. I am looking for a catalyst which can cast both miracles and hexes, with no higher than 20 Int 20 Fth requirements and weighs 2.0 units. I looked into 'Black Witches Staff' however that thing weighs 2.5 units and I've got an extremely precise build I'm going for. Is there any catalyst which can meet this or do I need to pump an additional point into Vit? D:

You're in luck.

Sanctum Shield. Functions as a catalyst and a chime, acts as a shield, works with 18 Faith and 18 int and weighs exactly 2 units.

Pick it up at the top of the Dragon's Sanctum in the first DLC and you're golden.

Oh my god, yes. Thank you.
The sanctum shield is great and all, but the Black Witch Staff outdamages the thing.
The Sanctum shield also takes up more stamina due to its strong attack/parry being its spell cast.
With a FTH and INT requirement of 20 for both, which OP currently has/might have.
It can cast Sorceries, Miracles, and Hexes.
Its it also the only STAFF that can act as a chime.

I only apply buffs, don't use offensive spells ever really. But thanks.

Ah, then the Black witch staff is the best for you, since its used for multiple buffs
Have you tried black witch staff?

He specifically said he wasn't using the Black Witch Staff because he wanted the staff/catalyst to weigh 2 units or less and the BWS is 2.5 units. So it's too heavy. I suggested the Sanctum Shield because it fit his weight requirements.

He specifcally said in the original post that he tried the Black Witch Staff and found it was too heavy for his needs and he needed something lighter.

Please. Read.

Alright, but what about black witch staff?

First time I've laughed today. Ta.
Seriously? 0.5 weight difference is THAT much for you? It's not like you need to ever stop leveling up.

I have a level ~600 and the PvP experience with that is bland as ♥♥♥♥. There is nothing more satisfying than creating a beast of a char whilst limiting yourself to SL 150. And yes that 0.5 extra weight means 15% slower stamina regen.

You can just, yknow, level up once and get a better catalyst.
I don't understand why people stop at 150 lvl in this game, it's just stupid.

Let's not derail thread. Keep that shet in the youtube comments section or reddit.
It wont matter if you go past SL 150, just put the extra point into VIT and get a better staff, its all soul memory
