Infinite Health Encounters
Dark Souls 2 is fun. This is NG.
I was clearing out the Bastille out of all of it's monsters while farming for chunks with the Bell Bro's. When I finally achieved this, I decided to do the Lost Sinner.
Upon clearing out the lower floor filled with water I get an oh so delicious message:

"You were invaded by dark spirit [name redacted]".

Yes! This is the Dark Souls experience! I'm going to have fun!
A blue spirit comes in to help out. He and I joined in on jolly cooperation to take on this red menace. Sadly, he did not make it but grieviously wounded the offender allowing me to take on the villain myself with ease. I threw daggers at him but to no avail, he had his shield up.

Remembering I had a pyromancy glove +0 and 8 fireballs, I lobbed them at the monstrous apparition in hopes of slaying him. I lucked out and he had nought but a sliver of health remaining! Thankfully, I still had my trusty daggers and threw one square between the vile beasts eyes!

I continued on and completed my mission.

As I journeyed to find the fabled ember of legend I was accosted by the same villain!
Oh woe was me, who was poisoned by the foul acrid gasses of this rotten land. Yet another friend came to my rescuse, waving uselessly at me. The red phantom was on the other side disguised as the most harmless thing imaginable, a pot. It crossed the gasseous path only to be greeted by a poison mist from my newly upgraded flame. Needless to say, he was slain quickly and without effort.

I continued on to the next bonfire when suddenly...
The same red menace came to slay me!
This time with untold power!
He stood before me as a god!
I was powerless...

However, the friendly blue phantoms came to my aid and stunlocked the ♥♥♥♥er into oblivion. His items of common make broke before us revealing His godlike form. Unfortunately, the blue apparitions fell one after the other to the newly made deity's unfathomable power!

And then I rolled past His attacks for like 5 minutes and He disapeared.
Git gud shrub.

TL;DR: What do you guys do when you get invaded by an infinite health user?

*EDIT: Embelishments and better paragraphing.

That's one way of doing it, but wouldn't you rather waste their time?
It feels like a win to me in my books.
Bogey man couldn't touch this.

Kill it with fire... if that doesn't work, use gravity.

Thing is, gravity doesn't even work now if they're smart enough to have dug around a little for the right scripts. I've seen quite a few that took absolutely no damage from any fall, "death cliffs" included. Also were immune to buildup of any status effects whatsoever.

Ironically enough, provided they aren't using immunity to status effects, petrify can kill anyone regardless of health value, infinite or not. This can also be done via hacks, smacking them once and insta-petrifying them.
Sadly, this is used for malicious purposes more often than not.

Otherwise, one can only hope gravity does the job.
