also, did the controller come with some sort of adapter? (if it is wireless)
what this program does is disguises your controller as an xbox controller (after some configuration). this is needed because 99% of PC games have been coded for xbox controllers if they have controller support. i had to do this with my controller in order for it to work 100%. however, it requires individual setup for each and every game you intend to use the controller for due to how the program works.
you may want to google info on setup as i may not be the best person to describe everything step by step.
what i can do for you now is give you the website that i downloaded the program from.

i recommend downloading the first and third .zip folders in the list. the third .zip is the program and its required files. the first .zip is files which will replace some others and fix some issues.
it didnt take me too long to figure everything out about setting up my controller.
