Blue Knight Halberd Bug?
Okay, here is what I see:
The standard Halberd at +10 and the Blue Knight Halberd at +5 seem to have effectively the same stats other than weight and thier Str/Dex requirements and Damage bonuses.
With no infusions the standard Halberd has Strength bonus at B and Dex Bonus at C
The Blue Knight has these reversed at Str C and Dex B.

If I have a character with Str 45 and Dex 40, why does the Standard Halberd have a lower damage bonus than the Blue Knight Halberd? (165 vs 180)

It's not a bug, scaling letter is not accurate.

Also it's Black Knight.

Hmmm.. Interesting because STR scaling is typically better than DEX. The actual scaling for "B" isn't the same for weapon to weapon. It's actually pretty confusing if you ask me. The letter itself may be an indicator if the weapon sclales wll with your stats, but it's all ball park stuff that isn't consistent from weapon to weapon. I've tried finding good explanations out there, and here's one that starts to describe the complexity of scaling for weapons:

Elemental scaling is completely assinine. Don't even try to figure it out.

You can use this calculator, though, for weapon damaga calculations without elemental infusion:

Indeed. Aside from looking cooler, it is essentially a heavier Halberd... except for the stat scaling which doesn't make sense. B>C right?

Might be outdated if recent calib adjusted weapons. Gives a good insight as how scaling works.

Thanks for the answers.
Seems the implementation and GUI parted ways somewhere along the path of development.
Seems to fall into the catagory of Misleading... one can only hope it was accidentally.
Hmm. Does the Japanese GUI use English Arabic letters for thier Stat scalings?
