It's quite acceptable on the single bosses, but all the group fights should have prolonged/riposteable parries. The gargoyle fight is impossible to win with parrying.
thx =)
believe me, i died a lot....^^
yeah...at least you can land two quick attacks with a rapier...but dodging is in fact the safer and more efficient option...sad but true.
This same playthrough I also started parrying a couple bosses for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles when I thought I could get away with it.
Ending up parrying the second of the Twin Dragonriders five times in a row on my first attempt, absolutely failed at parrying the Looking Glass Knight, and had enough success at parrying Velstadt that it didn't get me killed at least.
It's fun enough if you can manage it.
yeah, it's pretty fun to humiliate bosses...but other than that there is sadly no real advantage :(
and trut me, i died a lot to the glass knight cause I was thinking "damn, he HAS to be parryable!" :D
lol, if i would have played as male character there would be plenty jokes about my "strong left hand"......^^ but i like the idea of the diamond-dagger :D
regarding the music: it's not the witcher music, but after you said that i realised the analogy...they sound pretty similar.
I couldn't parry that one either, is it possible that he's actually unparriable?
I think so! but there are posts around which say that he is parryable. the same for smelter demon and old ivory king. people state they parried them - but without proof.
