Lore question: Insolent clerics

After replaying the game for the xx time, I realised this for the first time, during the skeleton lords fight the lords summon smaller skeletons after their demise. One summons a 4 wheels, another 4 standard skeletons and the last one summons 4 stronger skeletons with tattered remains of the INSOLENT ARMOR.

I've looked around but couldn't find anything related to this. My question is, what is the connection between the skeleton lords, the undead crypt and vendrick?

From the priest's chime (lost bastille) we know that clerics were not held in high regards in drangleic, those insolent armors have clericy descriptions "Armor worn by once-proud clerics". Also there is the entire area to deal with, the undead copse and the old iron king lore.

Does anyone know more about this`?
