Dark set gives pretty good dark D from my experience
Saint's = Lightning
Hexer's = Fire
Black = Magic
Chaos = Dark & Fire
There are some heavier armor sets that have decent elemental defenses, but most of the time they only excel in physical defense.
100% Dark: http://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/Transgressor's+Leather+Shield
100% Lightning: http://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/Watcher%27s+Shield
100% Magic: http://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/Magic+Shield (i.e. Magic Magic Shield)
100% Fire: http://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/Gyrm+Greatshield (sadly, I think this is the lightest shield with 100% fire reduction)
To be fair, once you reach NG++++ or so, if you get hit by a hard hitting mob you're dead anyways.
This is exactly what I wanted, thank you very much.
How did you calculate this, any spreadsheet source, or did you just do it yourself? If so, awesome job.
Thanks to everyone else who helped as well.
I'd really recommend switching the Warlock Mask with Chaos Hood.
Less overall resistances (you'll get more Dark res and less everything else), but +1 Spell Cast is godly.
