Some illusory walls in this game are stupid.
In DaS you had some kind of hint to help you discover a illusory wall or if you just try to look carefully you end up noticing some different wall or something strange in the area/place that would seem like a illusory wall.

In DaS 2:

Some walls require you to activate them with the action button, i know that is because of the way they reveal, like they are bound by a mechanism, but it is very unlikely that you would think in using the action button to reveal a illusory wall.

There is a lot of walls with no hint or no difference from the normal walls whatsoever, it's like, without a guide or the messages (which not every illusory wall has a message from a player) you won't have any chance of discovering that illusory wall.

I love this game, but they made a lot of bullsheit.

I will never forget in DaS when I found out about the wall, behind the treasure chest, behind a wall.

What I'm more annoyed about is that I need to use Pharros stone to open certain walls. Also it's not like it needs to be hidden either. The entire area shines up and that's just too obvious. It'd be much better if it showed show door opening.

I don't think the walls in Dark Souls were any more obvious than in Dark Souls 2. There is usually something "strange" marking the potential location of a wall in Dark Souls 2 as well (for example the Black Phantom guard in Earthen Peak, or a different wall texture).

There are like fake walls and illusory walls.

The fake ones are the ones you need to activate while the illusory walls are the ones you need to hit.

There is one in Forest of Fallen Giants, after Pate's gate, there is a iron chest inside and a lot of enemies close to it, there is no way to tell that, that wall is a fake one, there is no difference or hint or anything.

iirc there are 3 or 4 illusory walls in the game, they are kinda easy i'd say, to discover, but almost every fake one is stupid because there is no way to spot a difference.

No, trust me, there are at least that many in the Myrtha level alone (Upper Earthen Peak). Still doesn't change the fact that I agree with you on the BS of the illusory walls. I'm getting better at discovering them though--and by that I mean I'm getting better at hitting A at every wall.
