King's shield vs Defender's shield

Which one is the better medium shield? Is there anything better than these two (again, medium shields)?

Defender's Shield is better by far. Lower stat requirement, higher stability (probably the most important stat), and superior defense in all aspects except a slightly lower fire defense. Infuse it with Dark, and it becomes a very potent PvP med shield.

King's Shield's greatest strength is only its looks and auxiliary effect defense. Use a ring for that, since rings are much more effective against auxiliary effects than they are against elemental effects, so you will want the most elemental defense out of your shield.

There is also Drakekeeper's Shield, which is close to King's Shield but inferior than King's Shield.
