Anyone else get bored of DS2?
Like the title says, anyone else got bored of DS2 already? It doesn't seem to have held the appeal that DS1 did.

Im shocked sir. Im still strugglign a bit in new game+. Im bleeding a lot. Thats a lot of blood to claim its boring.

Once you get through NG+ the rest will be a "breeze," you'll know all of the bosses tactics, where the base enemies are, and just have to keep an eye open for where new ones will be. I kept leveling though.

I just beat the game without dying and not using (or lighting) a single bonfire in one run. To be honest, it was more tedious than challenging, running from Things Betwixt got old. This was just NG though and after about 5 other characters of mine going through a couple of playthroughs.

Don't get me wrong, I had fun. Now I don't have fun. I don't have it for PC because of this reason. All I'm doing now is working on achievements which now I only have to get all of the spells.

First run through of the game I beat NG and NG+ in under 100 deaths, no PvP'ing. Seemed kind of high to me.
welllllll thats my problem. Everyone kept yacking up how the pvp ceiling was 150. If you kept leveling no wonder it wasnt insane hard.

I am not getting bored, on my fourth play through now. Love it.
No problem with invasion. You shouldn't have either unless you've been a prolific invader or have killed NPCs ?

PLUS...if you want to avoid invasion, simply switch to offline mode in STEAM, and only re-activate it for boss fights.

Yeah I kind of did my own research instead of listening to other people. Ended up getting invaded a lot in PvP zones by level 150s... I was 300.

Easy win.

Yes. I'm bored with it already, but I have nothing better to play atm.

I'm not really bored with it but there isn't much else that I'm more interested in playing right now. Waiting for Watch Dogs.

restricting yourself to a specific soul level when soul memory is in action feels like trying to use a bandaid to cover the gaping hole that used to hold your intestines

I'm pretty sure that with the exception of organized pvp leagues/tourneys/clubs etc. the SL roof is thrown out the window.

doing SM in NG and SL in NG+ would be nice though, on that note has anyone else noticed that the ease of leveling up in terms of amount of souls feels much much easier now? Like there seemed to be a point when it got considerably slower to level in DS 1? In DS2 even at like 200+ I seem to only need around 60000 souls to level up, I know its in part because of there being more necessesary stats VIT/ADP but still, I feel like I've just been rocketing upwards in SL constantly. Might be slowing down a bit now but I think its because I used my store of great hero's souls to roid out with some weapons testing 20,000 a pop, that's a donkey load of soul.

I find the level layout boring and linear, the world seemed much more "joined" in DS1 with multiple routes joining areas together. This is like four directions and thats it.

Yes i'm bored ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ now, i've got on to NG++ and i just can't bring myself to carry on playing, it just doesn't do it for me like DS1, i thought this would have me hooked as much as i was with the 1st game but i feel dissapointed and depressed by it to be honest

Nah, I'm still playing it most of the time since release. I beat it twice now, and I still can't wait to start new builds or continue on to NG+.

Honestly....yes, as much as i don't want to stop playing it...i've lost the enthusiasm to play it and gone back to DS1. I love it don't get me wrong, tried everything, PvP, NG++, and tons of different builds...but...i lost interest, so back to DS1 and getting that damn tail off Kalameet.

get naked bait his tail attacks and win. Its pretty easy though,
WeArrLegion 13/mai./2014 às 15:07
It's a Soulsgame... Love it and can't stop playing :P
Though I liked the setting of DS1 better...
DS2 surely isn't crappy. And it's not dumbed down... If you put so many hours in DS1... Then ofcourse DS2 isn't hard... But knowing how to survive the game doesn't make the game bad in my opinion... Endless replayvalue for both games if you ask me... Still have to try Demon's Souls though....
IcyWafflebun 13/mai./2014 às 15:09
I'm trying to have some fun with the game. I want to help everyone out, but I have these malformed claws that do such baby damage, it hurts. Anyone even know what I should do with them? I want them to do better damage or at least helpful damage.

Have you fought the Royal Rats Authority? It's Sif but with four mobs at the start and no sword.
