can someone be my guide pls right now in Brightstone Cove from the Chapel bonfire please

Hi guys, I'm going around in circles here, cant seem to figure out what im meant to do down by the sand hole. I get to the bottom level and have nowhere to go, have used 5 or 6 homebward bounds to get me back to the fire but still cant find a way to advance. Any chance you can put a summon stone down on the chapel bonfire and guide me please? I think Ive gotten all the collectabled around here, just need to find the way forward.

First thing you want to do is activate the third bonfire. From the Chapel one, go down the stairs, use the two ropes to get into the locked building, kill the mages and go down, light the bonfire and open the door. That one-way door was one of the game's biggest design mistakes.

Then all you need to do is go past the double doors behind the hole, exit the room to the right, clear the new area, head to the Petra-like building with all the crystal, and be ready for lots, lots, lots of spiders. And a boss.

Tip: When you get to the big sand pit, walk around it clockwise, you'll come across a few doors. One has a bonfire, one is the room where an NPC houses once you rescue him/her (has a candle on the floor in the middle) and the last one has a mage and a spider inside. That last room is the one you need to be in, and from there you can continue (it leads out into a little street, across a bridge with some spikes around it and into another church-like building. From there you should probably be able to figure it out further :)
