And I only had to use the Fingers once. Hell, there appears to be some bug such that as long as I wear the ring once, the invasion timer becomes nonexistant. It's really exciting to have people (sometimes the same person) just invade you back-to-back non-stop.

As far as I know there is. Plus there's the dried fingers to shorten it, so there must be!

Well the Dried Finger is in Dark Souls 2 thus it's pretty much implied there is an invasion timer. Though definitely NOT in the belfry lol.
