Best Counter to Poison?

I realize you can cure it, but what armour sets protect you best from poison to prevent it from raising up to begin with? Getting tired of every other duel being someone with dual poison whips who then proceeds to pressure or replace the poison immediately after I cure it >.-.> I almost prefer dual Avelyn.

If I am not mistaking the tattered clothing set have great poison resistance.

With Bat Staff + Dark Fog, you can't counter it.

There's a Poisonbite Ring in Earthern Peak that has some good poison resistance.

BStaff+DF sure is annoying as hell. Almost PvP breaking.

Suprisingly enough, haven't seen it used on me as of yet in PvP.

I've had it used on me a lot. Usually the mage will spam it and then run circles and reapply it whenever I cure it.. eventually pressuring me

Pate's shield. Poison infused it has almost complete poison immunity.

I jumped onto the rocks over the lava pools and and opponent I was running from (blue phantom) started casting poison mist at me.
so I cast fist.

I already posted I'm aware of the moss. I wanted poison resist to slow the poison meter from filling as usually once I've cured poison I have it -immediately- after just about... nullifying the point of the moss.. One can run out of spells but not poison enchanted weapons.

I find most poisoners are easily countered by tanking the poison and stabbing them in the face. Most are cowards and can barely fight back even in the highest tier SM :/

Mmm, I'm told to be more aggressive.. I need better armour though, I only use Havels really for PvE but I haven't found a good PvP set... friend says I should use the Alva set... for weapons I use a Curved Great Sword, the dragon one... I also use a Varangian sword.. and sometimes a greatbow for ranged.
