Just tried watching yukaslegion

Was checking out twitch DS2 streams, saw yukaslegion, have heard a lot about him being a great player.

My god, that was the most blatant parry and backstab fishing I've ever seen

He'd go for an entire 2-3minute duel and only swing his weapon once or twice

The entire time his chat is going "man that other guy was such a havels noob, what a loser/nerd" etc etc etc

I couldn't leave the stream faster ._. Maybe it'd be different if the streamer (is his name yukas? not sure what to call him) was funny or engaging, but he just sat dead quiet the entire time.

Is he just having a bad day? Am I missing something? I love Dark Souls personalities like SunlightBlade and Mriwont4get, so I assumed I'd like this guy too. But damn, couldn't stand it.

Yukas is a lot like Brandon(oroboro), and by an extent Peeve.

iwont4get, and Sunlight aren't personalities so much as straight up commentators, they play the game and comment on it, while peeve, brandon, yukas, don't commentate so much as just record them playing.

I could be wrong on this though, i've never spent a long enough time watching Yukas.

Anyways if your looking for some varied gameplay checkout Tru3Ta1ent's stream, he specifically goes for unconventional builds and the like and tries to stay away from the most used stuff while trying to figure builds out with his stream.

Makes me sad that he has less viewers than the yukaslegion guy, he's actually funny and the gameplay isn't just parryfishing

I don't even fight Monestary Scimmy scumbags. I just spam magic. No way am I going to risk a parry against those fisher bastards.

I don't mind getting parried/backstabbed, it teaches me to play better.

But there's using a game mechanic, then there's abusing it, and the yukaslegion guy is definitely on the abuse side of parrying. It's all he does. It's not even fun to watch, I don't understand why he gets viewers for it.

You can't "abuse" parrying. It's tough to pull off. You can abuse magic by spamming it, as you said you do against "parry spammers"

The monstary simmy is ridiculous, you can wiff the parry like mad and still have it connect.

You're not going to kill them in 1 hit no matter what you do

They'll keep trying to parry you, and if they land it (not very hard, pretty easy with the Monestary Scimmy), youre OHKOd

Hell yea I'm going to spam magic against them, it's the only reasonable thing to do.

If someone pulls out a Havel's greatshield I don't R1 spam on it, I counter it with a guard break.

If someone parryfishes, I don't use melee attacks. It's simply countering.

Took your advice and went to try Yukas again

He invaded someone in the UDCrypt, got his ♥♥♥♥ wrecked by a Firestorm/Santier's R1 combo, then he and his chat made fun of the guy.

He then spent the next 5 minutes spamming videos of gandalf and a dog. Yea it was funny, the first 2 times.

Left the stream again, but don't say I didn't give it a second chance.

Santiers spear is kind of scrubby though. You haven't seen when he's really funny.

Oh I agree, SS is definitely scrubby.

But he invaded a guy's game, and the guy used perfect positioning and surprised him with a nice combo.

Did it take tons of skill? No. But he stayed alive, and flawlessly killed the guy that was trying to ruin his game.

And for that, he gets ridiculed.

Really ticked me off.

Anyways, I'm going to give him 1 more invasion for a 3rd and final try. Hopefully he'll surprise me.

Watch his youtube channel. Those are funny. Most streams aren't really that great.

He attacked the guy while he was fighting zombies in the UDCrypt and people in his chat went "WREKT"

150% hyprocritical stream, would not reccomend.

That happens in every stream. Every time someone dies the chat says something like that. You completely ignored what I said about his channel.
