in situacions i got my trusty greatsword +10 imbued with fire i deal almost 500 damege per hit
196 physical + 103
196 dark + 123
If i'm not mistaken then it can get to 199 bonus damage if you carry enough souls.
And is hopelessly outclassed by the BKGS. IT seems to have some ridiculously low multipliers.
I dont see how the blackstell katana ll outclass this opness sword, but im glad you say so, hope you are right :D
Claymore has better reach and probably covers the scaling difference with it's base damage.
Edit: Really Steam? Astard-bay then.
Maxed out, your sword is slightly better than a bastard sword, but worse than a claymore for base damage. Dex scaling is worse than strength scaling for pure damage though, so a mastodon has a far higher output for damage.
You need spare souls for the rulers greatsword, the BKGS doesn't.
Nor should it. All Katana types in DS1 did bleed damage, so people just sorta assume they still do. The only way to make a Blacksteel do bleed is to infuse it or use a lacerating... thing.
Uchi doesn`t bleed either.
