Accidental start of NG+
As the title says, i finished the game and in all my hype, i saw a new option in Majula's bonefire. I clicked it and started NG+ (i nevered played DS1 so i had no idea that was an option) is there ANY way to rreverse it / roll back to my previews save?? Thank you in advance

Unfortunately no. NG+ transition is permanent.

Thank you for the fast response mate :/ oh well -_-
On the bright side, soul level no longer matters when looking for coop.
On the down side, soul level no longer matters when looking for coop.

Start a new char! :D It's fun! Also now that you already know how the enemies and bosses behave, what items to get, what to skip, etc. it will be far FAR easier and faster this time

Soul level matters in NG, not anymore in NG+

it does not matter in ng at all, my sl1 with 2M SM can connect to my 118 friend. it just doesn't matter

At least in DS2 they give you the option. In DS1 you immediately got put into NG+ after defeating the last boss.

Changes to the game
Summoning/PvP no longer requires both Soul Level and Soul Memory, but only one of the two (needs to be confirmed which one is nullified)

So they're just full of ♥♥♥♥ or what ?

the entire wiki isn't finished, check their soul level range calculator, it still doesn't even inform you that theres brackets.

Yeah...I am not to this point yet, but that is nice to know the option is there this time. In the previous 2 games you beat the final boss and the game ends. Then you start back right at the beginning with no chance to go back and explore more in NG.

Not a huge deal, but a nice option to have. I have definitely done things in the past games where I thought I was done only to realize I missed something I forgot to go back for before finishing.

yea when I entered ng+ I learned to be a lot more brave since I had to solo every boss.

I think everything we ahve seen so far based on the console versions being out for a while already points to SL not meaning all that much anymore for connections in PvP. NG things are pretty light in the PvP arena if you don't actively set it up yourself with orbs, or some covenants, but in NG+ it seems to have a couple tiers based on player experience so far right?

theres like 3-5, 6-12 and then 12+, or maybe 15? that one im unsure of, and the brackets get smaller all the way down to like 0-10k or something dumb like that, probs not that small though.
