Project Beast is a new entry in the Shadow Tower series..

Shadow Tower is a first-person, action oriented role-playing game, released only in Japan on the Playstation. Sharing many similarities with the King’s Field series (the spiritual predecessor to Demon’s Souls), Shadow Tower is a dungeon crawler where you gain experience through killing beasts. Instead of choosing where to allocate your experience, different enemies instead automatically raise specifically targeted attributes associated with your character.

Hidetaka Miyazaki might be involved and the game might be good but its definetly not demon souls 2..

im happy :) im hoping demon souls 2 shows up in a year or two from now when the PS4 actually has a few things on it..

guess we wait for Dark Souls 3...

shouldnt be 2 long with the recent buy out and the huge success of DS2 a expansion or DS3 should be right around the corner..

yea it was a huge step backward ^

and with this recent news the chance of a demon souls 2 being connected with from soft is actually pretty low unless sony pays a TON of money.. its more logical they hire a completely different company to do demon souls 2 down the road..

this doesnt immediately make it bad.. but itll lose some charm i bet

The audiences on PC is in comparison about 5 people and 3 goats, and fewer people are buying the Xbone. :p

But, as Demon Soul's is a Sony IP, it would likely be another PS exclusive, though Sony do release a bunch of PC games...streangely, way, way, more than Microsoft (meaning they actually release some)..... :D

I dont think it will be Demon Souls 2. But the footage looks far to Dark Souls /Demon Souls - esque. It probably will be another spinoff or something loosely related. Maybe even a new franchise but still with strong ties to the Souls gameplay.

If you looked at footage of Gothic you could claim it looks DS esque and come to a conclusion it's a predecessor. But it's not. Bottom line is that there is no official confirmation so arguing what it is or isn't doeasn't really make sense.

we talking about games that they made BEFORE demon souls..
