Illusory wall problem
I'm having alot of problems with how breaking illusory walls works now in DS2. A friend tells me that I need to press whatever button i have set to activate to remove them.

That's the problem though. If someone places anything that is activateable RIGHT next to the illusory wall... then it's guaranteed 100% harder to possibly investigate whether or not a wall is illusory or not (which IMO it usually is if the message literally has a 50-90+ rating.

My problem is that with this kind of thing. I would atleast prefer if weapons could still do it (just switch to your fist, your fist doesn't have durability) because then if some dink palces a message in the right spot, the illusory wall is...

It's as impenetrable as the moon is to a baby in the 60s, it cannot be touched.

If there's another way to do it and I'm TOTALLY wrong in how to do it, then let me know please... It really makes me annoyed knowing that I could have found 8 of these things, but I sadly didn't, because I either don't know how to do it anymore because nothing tells you about them in-game rather early, and it's apparently changed how they work without any kind of a hint.

If there's actually an illusory wall there, it always takes priority over reading a message.

There's a lot of messages out there that lie.

if there IS an illusionary door there..no matter if there's a message,it will take priority to open the door..
if it don't..then the message is a troll and there are many many many of them around..

If the message is right next to it, it should still open if you press the action button. 80% of them are trolls and yea they should make them breakable walls instead.
As far as I've tested, the messages don't actually block you from doing the 'open' animation. I've tried it on walls I know are Illusory but have a message in front half a dozen times already.

The reason you'll see so many high rated messages in fake areas is people are trolling and 'joining in' by rating up a message they know to be false.

And there wasn't really much that the game told you about how to break illusory wals in DkS1 either btw :P.

A message can't be right at the REAL illusory wall - it will by slighty pushed away if you try to place it. In addition, 'read message' prompt disappears if interacting opens the REAL illusory wall.

There are more fake illusory wall messages than there are real ones. However, they always get tons of upvotes. I don't really know why.

As a result, I myself am guilty of leaving 10 fake illusory wall messages in random places on every new character, just so that I get free heals throughout the game. I think one of the fake illusory wall messages on my first char has recently reached 300 upvotes.
Ahhhhh... okay, thanks, didn't know that xD It would seem then that EVERY one was a troll...

Gaddabbit guyz xD <3

Thanks for telling me though.
