Giant Lord and Benhart of Jugo

I am trying to summon him for this fight (the memory, right?) to get the achievement, but i cant find the summon sign..

It's on the other side of the corridor where you spawn, before the fog gate.

You need to talk to him first in the Memory Of Orro, it's the giant near where the Pursuer boss fight take place.

i talked to him there, then went to the giant lord memory, and captain dummond was there instead..

Did you talked to Captain Drummond first in previous memory ? If so it may be the cause of his summon sign not appearing.

If you're trying to get his sword, there's another chance to summon him in the Throne Of Want.

As far as i've been able to figure out, you need to complete the Memory Of Jeigh with Benhart alive to complete his questline, as well as 2 others of the possible 3.

You need to talk to Benhart outside of the Memory of Orro, and exhaust his dialogue inside, iirc.

You need to talk to him in all of the locations sure, but you only need to summon and make him survive 3 out of 4 boss fights. I know because I've missed his summon sign for the Zombie Cult boss.

So I summon him for Looking Glass Knight, Giant Lord, Throne Watcher/Devender > Final Boss. Then I went back and to talk to him in Memories of Orro and voila, weapon obtained.

Odd. I actually tried this on my most recent play. I'd had him summoned and successful on LGK, Throne duo and Nashandra, as well as congregation and used Dummond for Memory Of Jeigh, and Benhart wouldn't give up his gear. When i used an ascetic and used Benhart, he gave me his shoddy sword.

I suppose Throne Duo and Nashandara only count as one boss fight, hence you've only used him on 2 fights, the final fights and LGK.

I just wanted to offer some advice here, in case anyone is still reading these:

I had the same issue, where Captain Drummond's summon sign was appearing, but Benhart's was not. On a hunch, I did the following:

Summon Captain Drummond, and then use the Black Separation Crystal. Benhart of Jugo's Summon Sign immediately appeared in the rubble.

(Uncertain as to why this worked, as on subsequent attempts I was able to see both summon signs at the same time.) But this is a way to get Benhart of Jugo's summon to appear if you've already exhausted Captain Drummond's dialogue.

I've also heard that, if you want to try and redo fights, you can also use Bonfire Ascetics to respawn the boss, in order to have another fight that you can keep Benhart alive in. I missed his summon sign for Prowling Magus + Congregation, so I had only summoned him and kept him alive for Looking Glass Knight + Giant Lord. However, I respawned Giant Lord (mostly looking to farm souls for NG++ Early Shrine of Winter) and I managed to get his equipment from two instances of Giant Lord.
