About the large souls you get from bosses.

Is it save to use them for leveling up if I don't want the weapon I can swap for it? Do they have another use?

I'm also playing a duel wealding swordsman dex build. Are there any weapons I should be after with these souls?

If you don't want the boss weapons/boss gear, then yes, it's safe to consume them. The only souls you don't want to consume are called Soul of a Giant. You need those, but won't get them until much later.

You mean the Old Giant, the first boss? I used that very early on like a noob. Or do you mean something different? :)

Soul of a Giant, its used against Vendrick to reduce his OP defenses to normal. Have 5 to do this!

Lol like from all the souls i got i consumed just this one... the description misled me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... it said it's only good to accumulate souls or something...

Ok thanks for your helpful answers and I was able to further look it up. But yikes, if you use all 5 and blow it when it comes to killing Vendrick you're kind of in trouble.

About the soul weapons, it's good to look em up on the wiki and see what you can do with each of them
