So I lit all 4 primal bonfires... help...

I can't access the shrine of winter, but I have used one of the 4 boss souls that I have otten. Do I have to fight the boss again with an aesetic, or is there something missing?

Are you sure you lit all 4 primal bonfires? The Last Giant would show up as a fire on Cale's map, but that is certainly not a primal bonfire.

You need to have gone to the following areas and killed their bosses: Sinner's Rise, Black Gulch, Brightstone Tseldora Cove and Iron Keep.

Did you actually pickup the soul from behind Freja?

Well, with this fantastic port, I can't see any particle effects at all, so I didn't even know Freja would drop a souls, and quite frankly, it's strange that she is the only boss that does drop a soul. Other bosses just have it placed in your inventory.

Seeing as this is an incredibly infrequent complaint (I've never seen it before)

And it was blatantly obvious to me, on my computers absolutely GORGEOUS rendering of the game, I'd wager to say your impatience/stupidity/poor eyesight caused you to miss the large glowing ball of light by the large dead dragon that 99.9999% of people went to investigte.
