Itembox contents carry over to NG+?

Stupid question but I better make sure before I lose 90% of my stuff.

Almost all stuff carries over. The few exceptions are:

- Keys (you'll have to find them again)
- Branches of Yore, use them all up if there's something left to unpetrify
- Special items that are listed under keys, e.g. the ladder miniature that you buy from one NPC

Important items that you also keep are the Souls of a Giant, which help make fighting a certain character easier. If you have more than 5 (maximum that can be used in that fight), those can be consumed for souls.

You keep all soul items, including boss souls.

Worth nothing that the key of the embedded (which is a weapon) doesn't carry over.
