Royal Sorcerer Navlaan
Hello guys, I got to Aldia's Keep, pulled some switch and next thing I know, I ruined this guy's questline (had to google it to realized what was going on). Is there any way to reset this? Maybe a bonfire ascetic? Or is the quest reward actually lost until NG+? Thanks.

Unfortunately, you're stuck until the next playthrough. Npcs can't be brought back with a bonfire ascetic. For what it's worth, you've only really missed out on one pyromancy that's worthless in pve and only soso in pvp as well as some robes that you may have liked the look of but lack any solid defense

Maybe next time you'll pay attention to all the dev messages saying PULL BACK next to that particular lever...

Oh man, there was a bunch of "Pull back!" messages on the switch, but I thought "right..." and pulled it. Shame on me lol. Anyway, thanks for the help guys.

On the bright side, Navlaan will now be invading you all over the world for this playthrough, so there's that ;) (psst, use the opportunity to join the way of blue covenant and rank up. NPC invasions DO count toward rank in it)

I thought it would be like "hit the lever and spawn some tough enemy" or anything like that. Should've known this game better...

So I miss the reward AND get invaded by him repeatedly, hahah I love and hate this game at the same time.

When I first saw all those signs telling you to not do it, I thought it was the game basically baiting me to do it. Not actually telling the truth since you miss his quest by doing so.

I pulled it because up to that point I hadn't been invaded by players very often and wanted to get my Way of Blue rank up. Navlaan helps you do that.
