Can't be summoned or see signs

So.. as of today I can't see any summon signs, nor can I be summoned. I can see messages and bloodstains just fine, been cooping with a friend throughout the game, we are almost identical sm and sl is the same.
it has been working fine until today, summon signs was all over the place less than 12 hours ago.
I have tried reloading, resetting my modem, validating the game cache, but alas no luck.
I am also not a member of the champion covenant either.

Anyone have a suggestion as to what is going on with my game?

They disappeared immediately after the patch 1.02. Before that there were a lot of

I can think of a couple of things:

1. You're not Human (But you seem smart enough to know you need it).
2. The areas you're in don't allow for a sign to be placed (If your soapstone is greyed out, thats what it means). Being in front of the Bosses Fog Door (2 feet) can also do this.
3. Your connection to Multiplayer might be severed (Game feature) as a result of you disconnecting in any PvP moment you encounter. Idk how many times it'd take for this to happen. If you know for a fact you've done this multiple times (and your soapstone even greys out at a bonefire) you may need to use your bone of order.

Don't use your bone of order unless you're 100% sure though. It may not be the fix to your problem if it's something else.

I am human, I have not disconnected from the multiplayer sessions, I have not burned a human effigy, I know for certain I can summon in the places I am since I have done it on the ps3.
Also bone of order cannot be used if there is nothing to fix (for example, burned effigy or disconnects)

Its happend for alot of ppl ♥♥♥♥ all signs and ♥♥♥♥ all invasion since the update. They have to be within a certain Level of you AND a certain soul memory of you except in NG+ where it goes on Soul Memory only. on a level 65 with 335856 soul memory you can only play with people lv 50-82 AND between soul memory of 251802-419820

I sorta feel like you completly missed what I said about the Bone of Order. If you're sure though,...

I say that because I've seen many people say similar things, "Messages appear, but I can't summon etc." And it's usually because they disconnect (forcibly/willingly) from invaders to avoid them, and then they are penalized after so many of these.

Other than that, I don't know, but you might also have a sudden firewall issue.

Had same with a friend we used small summon signs that worked,after a successfull run we
went back to the big one and it worked again.

I know how soul memory works and SL, and I just got invaded, but still I see no signs or get summoned, my character is the same soul level and memory that he was 14?+ hours ago when the world flourished in signs and summons.

If he hasent used a human effergy in abonfire the bone of order will make no effect at all. he just has to find someone with simular level and soul meemory or he wont be able to play doing co op is like looking for a needle ina haystack on NG, I rarely see summon signs i had 3 witin 9 hours yesterday on NG i played witha friend though most of it and have no problem summoning each other because we keep our level and soul memory close.

Since you're in Dark Souls 2 right now, examine your bone of order and confirm this: "You will be punished for fleeing from other worlds by disconnecting unjustly. However, this charm will disperse this ire directed at you". It's not a simple "I burnt a human effigy", those things wear off after being within that area for about an hour.

I have only had 3-5 invasions, and I have not disconnected from any of those... I don't think that is the problem
