Black Knight Ultra Greatsword.
Anyone like it compared to other Ultra Greatswords? Is it worth spending upgrading? I plan on getting the King's Ultra GS since it gets an S in scaling, but is this any good?

BKUG is a really nice sword. Good damange and it's got a permanent fire damage bonus to it, making it even better. But the true best ultra greatsword will always be the "Greatsword". It also can be buffed, unlike the BKUG, which cannot since it has a permanent damage bonus to it. (But you can infuse it with another element using stones.) But, anyway, it's ultimately up to you which one you'll pick. Everything comes down to playstyle. Not raw damage output. Remember that.

Really? The Greatsword in No Mans Wharf is the best Ultra Greatsword? As compared to King's Ultra GS that has S scaling?

Oh I meant to say the best to me. Sorry. Bit tired. But anyway, It's still down to your decision. I just find the greatsword to be the best since it's the first you find and it could be the one you end the game with if you upgraded it a ton.

Out of the UltraGreats, I'm a huge fan of Pursuer's. Good scalings, good moveset, you can get it early on, low stat requirements, amazing range.

I wasn't trying to be a douche o_o I was legitimately surprised, since no one's ever said that Greatsword is the best.

He very obviously was NOT being a feminine hygiene product? Whatever you're on, you should share it with the rest of the class.
I'm a fan of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ultra greatsword myself. The 2 hand R2 can easily do over 1000 damage if you hit with both the swing and the projectile. More than that though, I just love the looks and moveset.
I think that's my biggest tip for any ultra weapon, find the one that has the best moveset for your playstyle. Don't focus too much on the stats.

Another vote here for Persuer's, which has an S scaling with strength when fully upgraded, but it comes down the weapon you like the most, to a large degree. King's is too heavy for my liking.

Okay regarding Pursuer. Is the greatsword and the shield the only two things that the Pursuer soul can be spent on? Because if so, then I'll go pick up the sword, since I don't need the shield.

You can buff the Black Knight Ultra Gs just fine with a spell buff
Because of the permanent fire bonus it already has, i would suggest using Flame Weapon on it
