Help Plz! Where to farm human effigy?

hello all,

that last boss was a *****, i'm up to that boss that is surrounded by fire pits and i don't have enough poise to fully block his attacks T.T

So i need human effigies to summon friendlies, but ran out of them.

Where/how do u guys farm human effigies? i've also heard bondfire ascetics help, i currently have 2 of them. where do u guys farm for them?

You can farm human effigies from dogs, in the last bastille.

a bonfire ascetic will raise the area to NG+ if you can't kill the boss this is the last thing you want to do.

secret tip here - when you go human put on Ring of life protection. It keeps you human and saves your souls. You can then repair it at the blacksmith for 3k souls. Never lose again!

forest of the giants has a chest with 5 in it thay respawn everytime you use a bonfire asthetic in that area.

You don't need phantoms, they should be a last resort. Play solo for a while.

In the cellar of the mansion in Majula there is a skeleton that drops a human effigy. Each time you use an ascetic on the Majula bonfire an additional skeleton will spawn. This is a pretty good way to get effigyis.

wow this is awesome. by far the easiest way to get effigies so far. but kinda limited. from what i can see, they don't respawn

Use a bonfire ascetic on the first bonfire in the forest of the fallen giants . This will make the chest under the bridge respawn and it gives you x5 . This is the best and the fastest way to farm them .

No, they don't. Still, decent way of getting a few extra effigys if you have spare ascetics.
Later in the game there is also a shrine that can make you human as many times as you want, but only if you are already hollowed and have no effigys in your inventory or item box.

Put a summon sign down and beat the boss for someone.
That will make you human.

in the shrine of armana u can farm this also twinkle titane.
