No digital extra's
I just activated my pre-order of Dark Souls 2 Black Armor Edition (it got a long delay before it finaly fot delivered), but when I entered the code it got registered as "Dark Souls II Pre-Order ROW Retail (No Digital Extras)".

Like what the hell? Shouldn't I have the same bonusses as every other Pre-Order!?!?

A bit annoying, maybe, but to be honest you aren't really missing much.
It's pretty much a pile of ugly garbage.
And I read somewhere all these items can still be found/bought from merchants in the game.

If you are just activating something now, it means you didn't get it on steam. If you didn't get it on steam, there's absolutely no way to be sure that what they told you that you'd get is what you'd actually get, so you would probably be better off taking it up with them tbh.

that said, the pre order weapons are awful, ugly, and pretty much useless. The only class that they have any relevance on at all is deprived, who can't actually use any of them until better alternatives are available anyway.

Yup, I didn't get it on Steam, but when I knew my delivery would be delayed I contacted Steam and they said I should be fine.

And I'm talking about the digital extra's (soundtrack, story book and artworks), those I'm missing. I haven't played the game yet but I guess I do have the weapons. Or else they really messed up with my code and the weapons on it are just for decoration..

Does your Black Armor Ed. come with a physical soundtrack like the console version? What did it come with?

Black Armor Edition to my knowledge for PC was part of the Collector's Edition. So all your extras like the soundtrack, artwork, & comic should be somewhere in your Collector's Edition packaging.

My console copy of Black Armor Edition just came with the code for the pointless weapons, and the Soundtrack CD. My pc pre-order has the extras in the install folder.

Nope those are 2 different packages.

Where did you pre-order the Black Armor Edition from? Cause according to what I am seeing on the Namco website - Black Armor Edition only gets you the Soundtrack, Metal Case, & Game (Code/Disc). As for the Artbook & Comic, the Black Armor Edition isn't entitled to those.

That is all I can find for info as well. You do get the extra weapons though, lol. You can always double check your Dark Souls 2 folder in steam and see if it has a "Dark Souls 2 - Digital Extras" folder, since that is where my pre-order stuff is.

I pre-ordered on steam and it's registered as Dark Souls II ROW Pre-Purchase, all the extras were in the install folder.

Got it from Media Markt, but since it was a Pre-Order from March (which was delayed) I tought I would get the same extra's as the Steam copy. When I heard that my delivery would be delayed I asked Steam Support if I still would get me extra's. They said yes.

Obviously I don't got them. I have made contact with Steam Support again.

Well as I said in my previous post, I can find anything saying that the Black Armor Edition gives you the other bonus' that were given to users for Pre-Ordering on Steam. Making another ticket with Steam is prob just going to end up with them telling you to get ahold of the Retailer you got your copy from, and then the Retailer (assuming you contact them) will prob just tell you to go bug Steam about it.

As said, all I can see being given for the Black Armor Edition of Dark Souls 2 is the Soundtrack, Game (either disc/code), and then the Weapons & Shields associated with the Black Armor Edition.
