Belfry Sol

Is there anyway to NOT get invaded while progressing through this area? I really want to get that Black Knight Greatsword and then get back to Iron keep, have no interest in the gargoyles.

There`s no gargoyles in Sol anyway. But no, you`re gonna get invaded no matter what.

I think you'll just have to join their covenant...or run really fast. I went in there and instantly got jumped by two solbros.

Entering the Belfreys while online WILL get you invaded, up to a maximum of 2 Bellbros at once. You can also be invaded by Bloodbros and Bluebros as well, so in rare instances it can be a 3 vs. 1. The Belfreys are easiest ran/farmed in offline mode.

This covenant just invade any player that is in the area, even if you are in the Belfry covenant.

If you are a member of bell keepers covenant like myself you can still be invaded: I would suggest two options 1) go offline (but I wouldn't do it myself; feels like cheating to me) 2) summon 1-2 helpers

Fair Warning if you choose to Enter Belfry Sol while in Offline Mode (if you are part of the Bell Keeper Covenant). Bell Keepers can have a special Rare Spawn Red Phantom show up at about the halfway point of the Area, and his odds of spawning are higher when playing offline (and even higher with Delicate String Ring Equipped). He's fairly aggressive and hits decently hard and if you aren't careful you'll end up fighting him with 1-2 of the bell keeper black phantoms.

If you burn one Human effigy in a bonfire, it disables invasions and summons for one hour... So basicly offline. But then you will have to fight the gargoyles alone. You could ofcourse skip the whole place.

You mean Mad Warrior? I wish he would spawn, heard he can drop a set and sword. Didn't for me though, I went to belfry sol, and back to Iron keep, now im just testing weapons and chilling before going for Old Iron King.

Gargoyles are Belfray Luna, not Belfroy Sol. Sorry I misunderstood. I thought burning Effigys didnt work though?

It doesn't work since there's no bonfire in the Belfry Luna and if you burn it at the nearest bonfire it only disables invasions in the Lost bastille, you can't do anything about the Belfry tower.
