They are fodder, it takes like 3 goes in a stage to get it right every time. The biggest effect of this is preventing farming, whether you want to admit it or not.
Also no one cares.
Watch he say that makes the enemies hard and that's unfair, while at the same time saying this mechanic is FOR DA CASUALZ.
What are you even talking about? O.o
Who said that anything makes the enemies hard and unfair. Learn to read?
Also, no, in DS the enemies are not "fodder". That's one of the things that were great in DS in the first place. This is not Skyrim. Nothing is fodder here. As for the farming, it is the most pathetic excuse and if they wanted to prevent it I already said in the OP what they could have done.
And that is why there are so many other healing items in the game too?
That is how it was supposed to be. But no they had to make the game more "accessible". Now we all know what that means. Anyone who supports this abomination of despawning enemies should not play Dark Souls in the first place.
There is a covenant near the start of the game you can take to make pve much harder, take it and stop whining.
If you play casual bu going where it is easy first in a correct order it won't matter. If you want to throw yourself into bigger chalenges right away it does. That feature is a complete non-sense and they should get rid of it right away.
I tried right from the start to beat the ogre close to the house with my bare hand (deprived). i died quite a lot but it was fun. I don't want the game to be screwed because of my habits.
So let me get this straight... I have to git gud so that the game doesn't punish me by removing its challenge? Heh...
Good for you for not hitting the cap despawn cap but some do. Like Pnume mentioned one might even want to complete the game with a way that involves a lot of dying. And this may even change for you in NG+++ or if you get in the blood cov.
I've waited for so long for this game and avoided spoilers like a ninja but now I'm acting like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ - I can't play the game seeing that another mob has disappeared on the way from bonfire to the boss.
A kickstarter campaign for the mod maybe? XD
join games as a shade in a good spot, TONS of souls doing very short runs and stones.
or use the phantom mode for the same thing.
it's kind of cool because it helps the social aspect of the game continue.
ppl would just drag huge trains of mobs off cliffs and such before.
it's not a bad thing.
