Stuck shield up

I just created a warrior for my first playthrough of the PC version.

Something weird happened.

- My character is stuck in shield defensive position, shield up. This makes it unplayable since my stamina takes forever to recharge. The only way to solve this problem so far is to remove unequip my shield.

- Switch shields, weapons, etc... No improvement.

- There's a icon under the stamina bar that ive never seen before in my 3 playthroughts of the game on xbox 360, its a red square with a golden\yellow shield in it. Tried to find its meaning, no luck so far. It stays even if i unequip everything.

- Im using a 360 controller.

- Any idea?

you locked blocking....... you should really read gravestones.. they tell you a lot.

Sounds like you're in guard stance or whatever. I think the default bind on the keyboard is M, maybe you hit the key on accident or something but hitting it again should fix it.

i had similiar problem yesterday.. i was raging for half hour when i toggled walking :D
