There are already posts here with control list mapped to PC default key bindings.. Just search this forum..
The controller prompt "Y" is ctrl+middle mouse click (lets you cycle options so you can light the torch at the bonfire).
Weird as hell, but once you get used to it, you can get everything working.
Even with all the huge improvements over the Dark Souls port, it's still pretty irritating to have controller prompts all over my screen.
After about 30 minutes of taffing about I got all the controls set up normally, and everything works okay... It can just be frustrating to get to that point because of the weird menus.
Another pro-tip: After you change settings in the video options or keybindings menu, to accept them and close the menu you have to move your cursor OFF the window you're changing options in, and hit shift+left click.
A couple more bugs I noticed:
Since "double left click" and "double right click" are options for mouse bindings, unbinding them from heavy attack will cause your character to just stand there and do nothing if you click too rapidly when trying to perform regular attacks.
Having double click as a heavy attack is an absolutely bizarre option, I don't know who though it was viable.
Also, I can't seem to do the "guard break" (kick replacer, I guess), or the forward leaping attack.
The attacks that require you to press two buttons simultaneously don't work for me.
The timing is harder, but hit Right Mouse and then right after that hit W. It's a sequence, not a hit 'em both at the exact same time thing.
Well shucks, I'll give that a try right now...
Also, to OP, definitely look up (on this forum) the default keyboard bindings and how they relate to the controller prompts. It'll save you a migraine.
Yeah, I will do that. Thanks for the help !
