"Try to recall your name" bug.
Whenever I enter a name and press enter it just clears the name and nothing happens, not sure if I'm doing something wrong or it's bugged. Any help would be appreciated.

Took me a few seconds to figure it out when I started, I kept hitting enter after typing my name, you have to move the arrow key or hover the mouse over the OK button so its highlighted and selected. Dunno if this is whats happening with you aswell, just my situation in "try to recall your name" prompt.

Wow, I'm trying to get past this screen on my steam deck. Nothing is working. I've reinstalled the game, hooked up an external mouse and kb and scoured reddit. The game is "verified" for steam deck, but I'll be damned if I can figure this dilly glitch out. Never had this problem on Xbox 360. I'd love to revisit DS2 (never could understand the haters. This game is fun!) But, I might end up asking for a refund from steam. Bummer dude...

Hey. I don't know how Steamdecks work, but can you stream the screen to your PC and use the PC input?

You could start a save on your PC and then just import that save to the deck and it might work too?

Just throwing some ideas out cos I'd like you to be able to play.

I'd also recommend trying the Scholar of the First Sin edition too. It's more modern.
