A lack of time and unnecessity.
Well, well. I've found a source of Durante saying he's going to find out where Taipan20 lives to slap some sense into him: No GraphFix![i62.tinypic.com]
theyre the original posts durante made himself from neogaf un-edited.
the forum post is here>>>

if you want to read through 42 pages go ahead i alredy did
If you did you would have read the posts where he says that he's NOT working on a DSfix for Dark Souls2 and that he won't do one because "there's nothing to fix, they delivered everything they promised, it's a competent port"
You should probably read the links you post too, because that second one says what he's working on, and why he got early access to Dark Souls2.
Hint: Early access because he's working on a PC Gamer article to explain the technical aspects of Dark Souls 2. Nothing to do with DS2fix
For the reason he got early access, please see DFogz' post.
hes responding to the post about lighting he is saying no i wont make a lighting mod cos that is an assest change. he can still make another graphics mod for it seperate to the lighting issue which would improve higher quality textures etc like dsfix did.
It sounds to me that you are just trying to justify your misleading topic now.
Let's face it: We don't know what he might or might not do. At least I don't know it and how in the world should I. I am sure he will work on something, because he strikes me as a constructive and very capable man. But I doubt it will have anything to do with restoring the lighting we saw in the demo. That - obviously - is just my personal opinion. I don't know him and I am not Durante himself.
He clearly stated that he does not think DS2 needs fixing and I refer you to the post I linked to previously. That's the opposite from what you claimed he would do with this topic.
Therefore I have to assume you only want to believe that he will "fix" whatever you think is wrong with DS2. That's about sums up, what every single person in this topic has already told you so far.
I also do get the impression that you don't know what the DSfix actually "fixed" about Dark Souls. I'd like to leave it at that.
Edit: For further discussion on the subject, please allow me to direct you to this topic here.
