I find the voice acting quite good and never bores me :P
Except for the Emerald Herald...
Her dialogue has morphed into: Bearer, Seek, Seek, Lest... ^_^
It belongs to the universe of the Souls Games...
No, I want them to sound like they are putting effort into it.
Now, voice acting in DS1 is easily the best I've ever heard in any video game in my 20+ years of gaming.
DS1 voice acting is state of the art currently.
The Hitboxes might be a legit complaint though, I've heard they're messy to compensate for people rolling into/through the "giant castration position". Seems like a lame thing to overcompensate for with huge hitboxes.
Being a Souls game and all. That would bring nostalgia to me :)
