I have that card as well, you can't go wrong with 1080p 60fps.
It's not ugly because of the resolution. It's ugly because the textures and the lighting are bad. Side by side, Dark Souls 1 looks a lot better.

Yeah you're right about the native resolution (was something I was told but still should have fact checked it) I still stand by my point. DSFix on the original Dark Souls just unlocked the resolution and the difference was massive. Same with any other game when you change the resolution settings. But who cares which looked better on the PS3? Fromsoft aren't EA, they aren't about the graphics and never have been. If the game looks as good as DS1 did after using DSFix then I will be perfectly happy (the game looked pretty good in my opinion and it didn't have dynamic lighting either). There is no reason to believe that it won't look as good. Either way, a diamond in the rough is better than a polished turd. It's good ass game, be happy with that.
