Can I run Dark Soul2 with this video card?
Minimum: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT, ATI Radeon HD 5870

and my laptop has AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series

I'm not sure becuase it's laptop series card

Maybe...the minimum requirements are out of whack. The 5870 is much stronger than the 9600, I'm not sure where the 7600m would place. If you could run the first game I would guess you can run this one too, unless for some reason it's way more demanding.

That's a tough card to even find a reference for. You're going to have to print off the specs. of the ati 5870 and/or nvidia 9600gt, and compare that to your hd 7600m

That should give you a rough idea.

Toms Hardware -gpu hierarchy charts is usually a good reference, but there's no mention of your card to my knowledge.
You could join their forums and ask your question there - those guys are really knowledgeable.

Not at any playable frame rate. A mobile card is in no way equivalent to a regular card of the same model and series number and the only place I can find that card on any benchmark site is at the very bottom of the list in a crossfire configuration, meaning a single card is VERY weak. Sorry thats just not a very good card, im guessing its a 4+ year old laptop.

For reference the 5870 (the min requirment) has a passmark score of 2.610 , two of your cards can only pull about 700 so you can expect a single would get around 300 to 400.

Yeah like I said the 5870 scores an average of 2,610 which in and of itself is crazy low by todays standards.

The minimum system requirements for the first game were complete bunk, and judging by the nonsensical video card requirements for Dark Souls 2 they had the same idiot write that up. I played through the first game just fine on a laptop way below their listed minimum requirements even while using the mod to bump up the resolution and I suspect that same system will probably run DS2.

That site does not tell you if you can run something or how well, its simply lets you know if you meet the min requirments which anybody can easily tell on their own. I really wish people would stop using that crap as its no more useful than downloadmoreram.com
