What should I do with a pursuer soul?

Hi,I have dark souls 2 for my PS3,and I'd like to know what should I do with it.
Should I get souls?
Maybe craft it into a shield? Or a weapon?

that would depend upon your build, but in general i would say eat it for souls, and if you decide later you want it use an ascetic and get another :)

if you discard it in the crows nest youll get the pursuer chest peice which is better than the sword and shield imo

I suggest the sword cause there's the havel shield if your playing tanky lol
