Any good Katana build for PvE?

Hey
I'm looking to use a Katana in both hands in the future but so far I haven't seen anything except DEX Dual katana.

I started with a Bandit class and I'd like to use some magic eventually and get the full Desert Sorceress set. So far I haven't seen anything besides Chaos Blade build but it's mainly designed for PvP.

Does anyone know a good katana build for PvE?

Why do people always need to ask others for builds? Why wont they develop their characters to fit their own preferenxces and playstyle? More so a characters for PvE here all minmaxing thing is not needed at all. Where is fun in that?

Because it's not fun to find out what you were going for is trash and not viable later, especially in time consumming games like this one. I usually go for my own thing, but I prefer to be safer here.

Trash? Any character is viable in PvE when you follow common sense and have some knowledge about game mechanics. Also Soul Vessels. You can make you char "right" at any time.

But leveling one weapon over another especially petrified dragon bone and twinkling tantinite is a pain. its time consuming to farm either so I do understand the op. That aside you can wiki the katanas and se their levels to get an idea what u want

As incomplete as it is right now, it still has a stat planner. It really does feel better using a build completely built by you, for you, and if it's a bit off? Soul vessels exist so you can try adjusting things some.

A couple notes about mine though?
I prefer to stick with a concrete 20 ADP instead of calculating out 121 agility, simply because I'm comfortable with that.
15 STR is because the Blacksteel katana doesn't have STR scaling at all, and the highest requirement for my entire build is 15. Not wasting the points there on a stat that will be mostly useless.

yea I think the requirements for the weapon were 15 STR & 25 DEX if I'm not mistaken.

You need 23 STR and 50 DEX to powerstance Blacksteel Katana. Single wield Katana is not very strong in PvE. Do not infuse Blacksteel, they are not made for Infusion. At 23 STR 50 DEX you will be doing 2 x (190 + 155 + 50) with Ring of Blades +2, or 790 a swoop.

You need high VIT, END and VGR as well as 120 AGL minimum as you will be relying on dodging and powerstancing. END is important because powerstancing double the stamina cost, VIT to keep weight load low and better stamina regen, VGR to survive.

For Armour you can try Alva set or Faraam, they are the best "common" armour you can get, reasonable weight, high physical defense and standard poise (which works in PvE).

Ring, you need 3rd Dragon Ring, Ring of Blades +2, Clothranthy Ring+ 2 and either Royal Soldier Ring +2 or Red Tearstone Ring or Brass Knuckle Ring +2.

50 DEX because Blacksteel scale well into 50, without infusion. No infusion because infusion sucks on Blacksteel.

Maybe better to get min dex required and infuse + buff with element of choice. Dark Weapon is very strong, available very early and looks wicked on a katana.
Only issue is that katanas only really become available in Iron Keep (or Bastille - with Dull Ember from Iron Keep...), which means your katana-character will have no katanas for quite a while. Then again you get the ability to infuse only with the Iron Keep Dull Ember as well...
This means you will need a different combat style to clear quite a few areas first.
