DARK SOULS™ II

DARK SOULS™ II

Iron keep is actually in the right place.
Did anyone ever think that Iron Keep was built on a volcano....before they knew it was a volcano?

... and so it begins...
I am saying this because I read on a lot of forums that the level design is ♥♥♥♥, because of the placement of Iron Keep. Thing is, it was once the castle of a great kingdom, it isnt a long shot to say that maybe it was built on a mountain.
Smelter Demon's home. He knew. The Old Iron King lives in it. Probably built it there, because of the volcano.
People say that because when you take the elevator from Mytha you go up, but there's no volcano anywhere in Earthen Peak, or castle for that matter.

How do you know Earthen Peak wasnt built on the side of the volcano, and part of it inside? A volcano isnt 100% lava, look at Mt. St. Helens. The damn volcano had to blow a top. Still, it isnt a far cry to say that Earthen Peak was built on the side and some of it within a mountain that had partially collapsed into the crater of the volcano. Makes sense and follows the lore 100 %.
There's also a 3D map that shows the volcano right above Earthen Peak.
.....Im confused. Do you agree or disagree?

You mentioned the placement of Iron Keep... What I've heard about it is that it shouldn't be right above Earthen Peak like that, what are you talking about?
But if what you said is true, it shows earthen peak right below a volcano, doesnt that prove my analysis correct?
Ok

This is Earthen Peak as seen from Harvest Valley, do you see a volcano or mountain close to it? Because they kind of look very far from it from where I stand.

well considering in game you can see past earthen peak for a a distence from harvest valley and its all the same barren plane, and not to mention the fact that if an elevator would be going up then the only way it would make sense is if the fortress of earthen peak was built into the side of the volcano itself, which when playing the only thing behind the fortress is more wasteland.

That looks entirely too small to be earthen peak. Maybe show a video of you walking up to that specific tower and enter earthen peak?

Look up what an internet troll is, then come back with something a little more intelligent to say.

The line in between is the elevator from Mytha, below, to the Iron Keep, above.
