Pursuer Help
I can't find a single summon sign when I go to fight the pursuer, is the game low on population already or is the boss just easier than I think it is?

He is quite easy if you equip a Small Shield.

Ridiclously easy in fact.

It might have something to do with your soul memory, maybe too high maybe too low, so you can't see the summon signs of the majority of other people who are probably fighting the pursuer at a different soul memory...
But it's not hard, really. dodge to the right most of his attacks, get a hit in, then repeat. Save your stamina.

ok, is it bad if i have elite knight armor? I move really slow..

can you explain the soul memory to me?

You don't really need armor for this fight as long as you know how do dodge his attacks. Remove pieces of armor until you have the fast roll (under 70% equip load) bring a shield with good stability, learn his attacks and then dodge and punish him.

use the ballista. it takess off 99% of his health. otherwise just dodge his attacks and hit him once or twice. rinse and repeat.

Don't dodge.

Parry.

Oh, come on. Give the pursuer a fair fight... just dodge and hit, it's more fun this way... :)

I didn't say to use the ballista. Using the ballista is bad. If you rely on it to take him out you won't be able to defeat him when he wants a rematch later.

But do parry him. Learning to parry the Pursuer is vital to be able to take him down when you can't cheese him with the ballista.

Once you get the timing down you can easily parry him 24/7.

He becomes a helpless little baby when you do, allowing you to wail at him mercilessly.

Didn't know you could parry him. Useful video. I usually fight him in that open area though, where the crow drops him. Maybe this time i'll kill him in is actual boss room.

Just walk up against him (WITHOUT holding block - doing so triggers his guard break attack) and wait for him to do his basic swing. Very easy to parry and you can chain parries to keep him stunlocked 24/7 - just don't get greedy with your attacks or you won't have enough Stamina to parry when he recovers.
