if you just want to pick the "best" armor and be hated later, you can use the havel set. don't forget the derp smelter helmet. it's a heavy armor, of course, but it offers quite a lot of defense.
anyway... not sure. i usually don't pay too much attention at the stats of the armors.
Me? I have a few sets of fully upgraded armor: Lliwellyn, Alva, Dark, Faraam, Heide, Throne Watcher, Throne Defender, Mad Warrior, Vengarl, (lol) Havel. Also a Black Dragon set.
Actualy... Vengarl's set have VERY good stats for its weight. But it might be a little to heavy for 25 Vit.
Alva is light and offer good physical defense.
Faraam is medium and offer good physical defense.
If you can get down to under 25% equipment load, you can roll further and regenerate Stamina at insane speed.
I've beaten the game naked more times than I can count. Invaders included. Armor is optional. Even against havel helixodons.
Naked man OP
From pls nerf
Ive been trying to figure out how much it is exactly, but right now i approximate it by adding 10% per scaling level, or none if you dont want a phys build. Havels pieces show up a lot in heavy builds so this seems to work.
