Should I invade Licia?
She's got some really good stuff, and I would really like to get some revenge on that treacherous wench, but the fact that I'll recieve some sin kind of worries me.

Unless you plan to use the Lost Sinner's Ultra Greatsword, which scales negatively with sin, don't be too worried. Other than that, sin's effects only start when you accumulate ten sins. At the 10th sin, you will be eligable for blue sentinel invasions.

I just thought of something else, what's the advantage of using the eye to invade her rather than outright killing her in normal form?

Be prepaired for a very unfair fight when you do invade her. Her cast time is very fast allowing her to get a heal off in about 1 second as well as taking a good chunk of your health off with WoG. I would suggest heavy weapons that knock her down, poison, and super crit weapons like shadow dagger to finish her off before she can heal.

You only get the Idol's Chime and the Rotunda Key if you kill her outright. No Soothing Sunlight or Saint's Robes set.
she has no poise though. just get a dagger and stunlock her to death.

or you could just raise your faith to 30 and get her stuf for free. violence doesnt always have to be the go to answer! which i know, this is dark souls, thats not easy to believe.

I just fought and I have to say, that was WAY easier than I expected. Her WotG was 100% phys for me so it wasn't that hard to block, and I could do more damage than she could heal.

I'm confused now... After she died I went over to get my sin pardoned, but there is no sin. Almost every source I've looked at says sin would be given upon killing her.

the pardoner doesnt forgive sin, as you might expect, only he calms any aggro'd npcs. since you killed licia there is no aggro to settle since she's very much the dead.

Lads and Lassies please ignore the sinner, he wants you to do wrong, he is the devil on your shoulder.

Never had a problem with her. She's not 'unfair', all you have to do is stunlock her to death with a greatsword (if melee). If you're a dedicated caster, it's even easier.

that's not even necessary. i think a dagger is enough. she can intimidate the first time you face her though since she cast miracles like a mad woman.
