Bloodborne - Next Souls Game is PS4 Exclussive....

I thought From Software got past this....Id take it late, rather then never, but wish they would add in PC to their normal releases. Theres nothing next gen about the new consoles and they are so underwhelming that Im not going to spend $400 to play the next Souls game lol :(

It's because Sony productions are making it with them, it's not just From by themselves.

For something to be "next gen" it just has to be the generation after the last one. The Wii U is the "next gen" Wii even though it is about as powerful as a PS3. :D

Sony has the publishing rights an therfore its stuck on ps4 because they aren't smart enough to realize selling on everything would be better practice.

You should know by now that exclusives sell consoles. With the popularity of the Souils series, this will deifnately shift a bunch of them (same thing happened with Demon's Souls).

People are buying Wii Us for Bayonetta 2, so it wouldn't be surprising that people would buy a PS4 for a "Souls-like" game from From! :D

Sony needs to roll out proper PS3 support on the PS4 so I can play DeS on it should I decide to pick one up for BB.

I understand the politics behind the move....just frustrating all the same. The whole console sales practice is so ass backwards with reality. You look at the car industry, Ford may only make Fords, and sell Ford parts, but the aftermarket companies make a freaking killing selling universal parts for all makes....Just dont understand why they stick to this marketting practice that was invented 20 years ago now. I remember back in the day you had 2 choices. You either had Mario with the Nintendo, or you had Sonic with Sega. Still the same crap going on these days, and for all the claims of "PC" gaming being dead because it has no store presence at EB Games, its still a huge slice of the same pie. I mean we could get a half ass port and most people would be happy....

I mean call me crazy....But wouldnt removing console exclusives all togather leave the market more or less the same. I mean Xbox and Playstation survive off fan loyality, I really dont see removing exclussives as something that would drastically effect console sales. OR if you want a console exclussive, why not offer it on the PC side, since we are not really in that same war....

I mean....at this point ive got my fingers crossed that the development team from DS2 is slated into another cross platform souls game, its our best hope of having something in our hands in the next 2 years.

DS2 sold very well, and so has the DLC. There will more than likely be another Souls game. The series is too popular for there not to be. :D

Hopefully with the same PC launch date as the consoles....so you dont get a bunch of youtube goofs stacking their characters while you explore the game blind. lol
