Powerstance Helix Halberd and Mastadon Halberd need to be nerfed.

All it is is poke,poke,poke dead. They need to increase the stamina usage for powerstance both weapons, with the broken hitboxes there is little chance of beating some cheap dastard with these things equipped running around in full Havels. You can't parry it and blocking it is practically pointless as even with a +10 Greatshield two hits and you're knocked over.

And before ANYONE says that stupid diphit saying, HOW do you counter it? Because at 110 AGL dodging doesn't work, and blocking doesn't work, and the speed of the attack will hit at the same time any of yours do plus the range is longer.

Block tradeing shuts that down entirely, as their stamina drain and recovery is greater then the blockee.

Same tactic as dealing with avlens and bows. Dont roll, block and walk through it.

on my new build i wear jesters torso so i cant be stabbed from behind, u can complain as much u want it wont help u if u face me in this game, on fightclubs im unbeatable till my summon time is over

What SKILL is there in that? What the HELL. THIS is why I hate invaders so much, nothing but a bunch of cheap griefing jackholes that use the most ludicrous weapons all to ruin your day.

The best part is, that setup is kind of crap in PvE but in PvP it's practically Godmode. Increase the stamina drain on powerstancing Halberds, that'll at least keep them from spamming it constantly.

Um, you CAN be backstabbed using the Jesters chest piece. It just makes you immune to critical hits, so no bonus damage.

Neat. I can count on one hand the amount of times I saw a backstab opportunity and took it, and 3 times where chuggers in light armor, and the fourth was a hex spammer.

Now for all the times I did not....well shields cant backstab or riposte.....

Are you sure you responded to the right thread? Neither of these things where brought up in this entire thread, let alone my posts.

Edit: Ah you are refering to the Helix combo.
And? Its not like the crit dmg is what kills you on a backstab, unless of course it is a dagger.

Edit 2: I am still wondering where you thought there was salt in any of my posts, or would be salt.

Was his name Gou? I beat that guy up a lot in the arena. Pretty sure he was muling or using a modded character too. I don't think that's the case. I'm still not sure how Jester's works. I've parried and riposted people wearing Jesters plenty of times, and most of the time they take 2k+ damage and die in one hit. I don't think it does ♥♥♥♥.

I agree, I've never tested the damage in numbers; but backstabbing isn't possible.
