I keep getting Blue screens while using my PS3 controller for this game

I think its the program DS3 tool motionin joy, the blue screens are becoming more frequent and have only started since ive been playing this game with my controller and using that program

i only have a PS3 controller and motionin joy is the only option so how can i fix this?

I had this but with a 360 controller and it was a loose connection on the controller causing the blue sceen. It could also be that the controller is not getting enough power, or some people have had issues with vibration.

1) Try playing with the wire on your controller and see if that causes the blue screen.

2) Plug controller into the USB port in the back as that has the most power.

3) Disable vibration from the in game menu or using motionjoy

Hopefully one of these will locate your issue.

Motioninjoy is very out of date and there is a much better PS3 controller driver. Uninstall Motioninjoy completely and then try this: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller

It may be hard to figure out which is the newest version to download but trust me, it's worth a bit of confusion. This driver works great, wired or wirelessly, never any problems.

i cant get SCP to work..i did all the steps to install the driver but when i view it in the SCPmonitor it shows all pads are disconnected

On a sidenote, do yourself a huge favor, get the ps4 controller. It feels a million times better than the ps3 one.
You'll probably use it 100+ hours, easily worth the investment. Using it with 'scpserver' without a hitch.

well SCP doesnt work. I plug in my PS3 controller via the USB charger cable it came with into my pc.
Run the SCP driver install it,
Restarted
and when i click on the SCP monitor nothing is connected, also in my devices printer view it doesnt show up as an xbox 360 controller (which it should) it shows up as an unspecified Playstation controller

2018 And I'm still having this problem. It seems to be the lack of power. Sometimes it's a blue screen and sometimes, just disconnects...
