Best armor to upgrade and use for PvP?

im currently a faith build as SL 150 and have no idea what armor i should main and upgrade..
should i just upgrade what i think looks the best because armor doesnt have much effect?
my favorite looking armors are King's set, Faraam set, and some others..
i also have a good amount of vitality so i could go with an armor on more of the heavy side

IMO, armor isn't that important in PVP at levels lower than 250 or so and poise doesn't really seem to matter anymore, so go all out with your fashion souls.

At higher levels everyone uses full Havels or all Havels with Smelter head.

In most cases shield choice is more important and for that I'd recommend any out of these: Dark Rebel's Shield, Lightning Watcher Shield, Dark Havel's Shield, Magic Magic Shield, or Dark Transgressor's Shield.

Havel havel havel. Or go naked like i do. Adds a nice challenge.

Go with what you like and keep an eye on the weight.
Even the highest tier (12+ Million Soul Memory) got highly diverse builds when it comes to armor.

Unless you desperately need a special effect, like backstab protection, higher casting speed or crit chance, just go for the maximum fashion souls rating. :)

There are a lot of good combinations you can make for a good armor rating. Dont worry about min maxing, you'll just destroy your self respect and it wont help much if you're bad.

For fashion souls with decent protection I recommend the Llewellyn Set, the Black Witch Robe (has the best elemental protection in the whole game), and Lucatiel's Armor.

Also if you use the Hexer Hood it goes really well with the Throne Watcher's set.
