Best Stats/Weapons for a PvP dual wielding Dex build

So i recently been trying to find a viable dual wielding Dex build for PvP
So far I have a +10 Blacksteel katana and a +1 warped sword (eventually +5)
my main attack i do 90% of the time is the special strong attack from the warped sword which is reallly strong (double spin attack animation)

my question is what should my skill pathway be now considering i have
SL 90
40 Dex
22 Str
17 ADP (for agility)
Int - 7
faith - 5

should i focus my points in endurance, adp, and vigor? or dive into a newer skill to become more versatile
and also i dont think the blacksteel katana works well with the warped sword..should i dual wield 2 curved swords?

the uchigatana that mcduff sells is what i use with my warped sword, you could consider that but its pretty similar to blacksteel

You could consider what Thaddius and others suggested to me, go DEX/FTH or DEX/INT and enchant and buff your weapons, I've found that slightly better due to poor DEX scaling.

With the way physical damage mitigation works in this game, combined with the way dex scaling works, you are dead on. You need elemental bonuses to get through that damage mitigation.

Go dual blacksteel. So manly, so kickass. Proly with Mad Warrior set for a complete fashion souls.
Just dont infuse your blacksteel katanas, it is one of the few weapons that will not benefit from it. Its superior S scaling from DEX will always surpass any elemental damage you can get by infusing. I had tested a lot so i can say.
As for stats. Bring up your ADP to 20 ( you will want am AGL of 100 or something like that ). Level your DEX to softcap of 50 if you can. Invest some points into the stats that increase stamina and health since it is essential for any melee build.
As for the max weight you can bear.,, Well you will proly want to stay under 50%. So it realy depends on armor you want to wear.
Also blacksteel +10 with 50 DEX beats pretty much any katana damagewise, but Washing Pole, Berserker Blade and Chaos Blade.

Did you test the scaling damage vs high level players in fully enchanted heavy armor? You are likely going to do very little, while the elemental will count for almost 2x its listed damage (when compared with how well the physical damage plays out).

Do you think it would be better to have higher DEX or higher FTH? I'm around even at present. Dragon Chime +5 and Lightning Spear is amazing and I am currently 50 FTH.

i think i should raise my faith to 40..because raising anything else doesnt seem to be that beneficial...the problem is idk what weapons would work with infused lightning and have good dex scaling...

i can also then buff the weapon with SLB and i see that being very strong

i need a crap ton of souls to get my level 5 faith to level 40 though thats for sure..

Get a ricard's rapier.
You may try some whips for a parryfishers. Old whip can whoop ass in terms of its infused damage.
You can try Black Dragon Greatsword. It has the same thing for infusions and nice base damage, although it does not have any scaling to begin with.
And 35 points at SL 50 is a child play. You will level up in no time just by progressing through game.

Washing Pole +10 Lightning Infused + Sunlight Blade = insane reach lol
Blacksteel +10 Lightning Infused (or keep it physical since it's S scaling)

also get a Hunters bow which is good for DEX, lightning infuse it and fire poison arrows, should be good.

I have 52 DEX and 50 FTH lol, my stats are all over the place.

I say even is fine, the scaling isn't that much better with elementals. The real issue is that Str averages out at 1.2 per point invested, while dex is only hitting around .86 per point (over the useful level range, before the softcap). So for a dex character to keep up (in my opinion), you have to have some kind of element to stack on it.

The only thing I ever loved about Katanas was the bleed, but OP you should definately listen to Thad's advice, as I know he's run a dex character well. Not to say everyone else in here hasn't, just I know his worked out pretty well.

I wish i was SL 50...I am SL 97 right now with 40 dex and 5 faith lol
